Destination: Dharamshala – Mcleodganj - Dalhousie – Khajjar – Chamba – Amritsar
Day 01 : Delhi (arrival) – Dharamshala (566 Kms / 10 hrs drive approx)
On arriving at Delhi, get received and escorted by our tour representatives to board the A/C Volvo Bus/Train to Dharamshala. Travel all the night long by the bus/Train.
Day 02 : Arrival at Dharamshala
On arriving at Dharamshala Bus Stand/railway station, get assisted by our tour representative to help you to get transferred to McLeodganj. On getting there, get checked into your pre-booked hotel. In the afternoon, leave for the local city tour of McLeodganj. Visit the Church, Dal Lake, Tibetan Monastery and Bhagsu Nag Temple. After this, get back to your hotel to spend overnight.
Day 03 : McLeod Ganj
Take the enjoyment of the full day excursion tour of the Palampur Tea Garden and surroundings. After this, return to your hotel to stay overnight
Day 04 : McLeod Ganj – Dalhousie
In the morning, get started driving from McLeodganj to Dalhousie. On your way, visit Dharamshala and surroundings. Get continued driving to Dalhousie. On getting there, get checked into your pre-booked hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy the local city tour of Dalhousie. Spend overnight at your hotel.
Day 05 : Dalhousie
In the morning, set out for the full day excursion tour to Khajjiar and Chamba: Khajjiar – sometimes called the Mini Switzerland of India, the exquisite glade of Khajjiar (1960m) has a circumference of approx 5 kms. Along its fringes, dense woods of cedar (Deodar) climb the slopes, the snow line rests above these forests. Khajjiar is home to a 12th century temple famous as Khajjiar Nag. The temple has life size wooden images of the five Pandav brothers within it. After visiting Khajjiar, advance for the excursion tour to Chamba (915m), which stands on the right bank of the Ravi River. It is one of the oldest states in the country as a previous princely state, which is well-known for its superb architecture and a base for several excursions. After this, get started driving back to Dalhousie. On getting your hotel at Dalhousie, stay there all the night long.
Day 06 : Dalhousie - Amritsar
Early in the morning, get started driving from Dalhousie to Amritsar. On arriving there, get checked into your pre-booked hotel. After this, set out for the local sightseeing tour of Amritsar including Golden Temple. In the evening, visit the Indo-Pak Border to see retreat ceremony-30 kms on the road to Lahore is India-Pakistan Border. After visiting the border, get back to your hotel and spend overnight there.
Day 07 : Amritsar - Delhi
Get transferred from the hotel to the railway station to Amritsar to catch the train for Delhi. And now the tour ends with sweet memories.
